This is a family of five Albatros based on my family of five which is currently very chaotic! I got the idea from a lovely book I’m reading ‘Aroha’ by Dr Hinemoa Elder. She has a whakatauki she writes about featuring the Albatros and its ability to gracefully ride the ups and downs of the ocean winds. An aspiration of mine for my family is to have the resilience and strength to take the ups and downs life throws their way. I was trying to capture a sense of chaos and harmony at the same time:)
