Art that connects with your audience, tells your story or transforms your space by NZ artist Amy Burrell

Murals

Art can transform your space to connect with your community, make them feel welcome, excited, safe or that they are in the right place. With 18 years experience as an illustrator and designer Amy has started working with our local Hutt Valley community on large scale murals in both interior and exterior spaces.

Publications

Art, illustration and stories are a great way to share information, ideas, values and culture. Amy has worked on many children’s picture books and learning resources for NZ tamariki. With experience in each step of creating a publication Amy can help you with concept creation, writing, illustration and printing.

Working with Schools

Amy has been working with schools throughout the Hutt Valley creating artwork to brighten up their grounds. Local history, Maori legends, wildlife, important people, cultural traditions and designs are some of the themes featured in these works.

“Amy listened closely to our brief and was thoroughly prepared and researched. The mural is one which reflects our diverse school community while also recognising our local history. I would highly recommend Amy to work on any mural project and look forward to seeing more of her work at Boulcott School.”
